Local Trips

An Unforgettable Journey to Iceland with Collette Travel arranged by the Acton Council on Aging (COA).
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Iceland with Collette Travel, and we can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences of our lives! From start to finish, Collette took care of every detail, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in Iceland’s stunning landscapes and rich culture.
The trip was expertly curated to show the best of Iceland, from the otherworldly black sand beaches to the geothermal hot springs, massive glaciers and views of the northern lights. The highlight for us was the opportunity to soak in the Sky Lagoon, where the hot mineral waters offered a rejuvenating experience unlike anything we’d ever done before.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland’s history, culture, and natural wonders. They provided fascinating insights into the country’s geology, the Norse influence, and the unique way Icelanders have adapted to their challenging environment. Every stop was enriched by their stories and expertise, making it feel like we were discovering Iceland through the eyes of a local.
The hotels selected by Collette were very good, offering comfort and a great atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploration. The accommodations were well-located, and the meals provided were delicious—showcasing Icelandic cuisine, from fresh fish to lamb.
Iceland is a magical destination, and Collette Travel made it even more spectacular. Their attention to detail, thoughtful itinerary, and exceptional guides made this an experience we’ll treasure forever. We highly recommend traveling with Collette.

**Outstanding Northern Italy Experience with Collette**
