The Friends of the COA is a 501C3 non-profit group which raises funds and provides financial assistance for both regular and special programs offered at the Senior Center. Most classes and programs are free to Acton senior citizens thanks in a large part to the fundraising efforts of the Friends. New members are always welcome!
The Friends board has fifteen dedicated Members. We meet 8 times a year on the second Monday of the month at 1:00 p.m. . Please check the COA Newsletter for meeting dates. We meet on a first Monday, when the second Monday is a legal holiday. We welcome visitors to our meetings. They are open to visitors, new members and volunteers. There is no age requirement to be a Friend.
